SPECTRUM YORK AT A GLANCE
A Bit of Background
Here at Spectrum York, we are driven by a single goal: to do our part in making the world a better place for all, especially within the rainbow community. Our intent is to create a safe and affirming place for LGBTQ+ young adults (ages 21-40) to get together, have open discussions, and obtain information on local resources including mental and physical health care, affirming religious communities, and queer friendly businesses.
We will provide a social outlet and general support group for people of the queer community to talk about issues and concerns, to celebrate in joys and accomplishments, and eventually bring in speakers and mentors to talk with the group.
ACTIVITIES
Bringing us all together
Spectrum York meets on the first Tuesday and third Saturday of the month from 7PM – 9PM at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of York, located at 950 S. Duke Street in York, PA 17403. We meet in the Carriage House Sun Room, a comfortable, beautiful, and serene location. We are handicap accessible and welcoming to the needs of everyone who attends.
