At Spectrum York, we believe that with access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. That's why one of our major goals is to help our queer community connect with local resources.

At Spectrum York, we do not believe in the "Other." There are those within our community, those that support our community, and there are those who just do not yet know enough about our community to show support and compassion. We aim to fix that, by informing, inspiring, and engaging with the communities in which we live.

Respect for All
because each life is precious and should be appreciated for its uniqueness. To infringe upon the rights of one individual is to diminish the rights of everyone else.
ENGAGE
Within our Communities
so that understanding and acceptance can flourish. Isolation is not an option as building bridges breaks down barriers of misunderstanding and fear. We raise our voices for those that cannot speak out.
